We have an IP in Manoora, Cairns, North QLD.
We haven't had any problems renting it out over the past 5 years, however it has become available now.It seems there is a flood of rentals in Cairns atm. The rain up in North QLD hasn't really helped either.
Like every one else, I want to attract the right tenant, for the right tenant we are willing to negotiate. (Monetary or facility wise)I would like to see what kind of "creative" strategies have you used to attract the right tenant from your experience? For instance to keep good tenants, I have read that one land load offered $50 gift vouchers during xmas.
Its a 3 bedroom, low set, well kept, average suburban home.
Any Ideas? from past experience? If you are looking for a rental, other than the usual what "more" can the land lord offer?
hi sulo good idea being creative. but offering a $50 voucher will probally only attract people with no money not something i would offer. offering a free weeks rent would be better
