    Hi,

    I just joined and would love some help.

    My parents are considering purchasing two properties (places undecided).

    Based on Steve's books, I know that there is a selective school that will be built and finished by 2010 in Berwick (VICTORIA).

    Hence I was wondering whether it is advantageous to purchase properties within Berwick (perhaps a 4km radius from the selective school) OR as Steve advised go to the next suburb out?

    At the same time I was wondering whether I am applying what I have learnt in Steve's books properly.

    Any comment would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    I am not based in Australia but your reasoning to purchase close to schools are spot on.

    If you can find any 4Br homes at a decent rent or lease payment for your prospective
    renter you should go for it.
