    I do apologise if similar topic been covered before..

    My sister who plans to migrate over is thinking of getting a suitable home (she'd like to capitalise on the current soft market) before her PRship is approved and her PR application have just started. I would like to find out what is her eligibility of buying property in Australia. I reckon she might be in the position of an overseas investors' shoes or are there differences?

    Last heard claims that she could only get a land to build and not established homes. Is that correct? Would be great if anyone can otherwise advice where I could get more information on this.

    Foreign investment review board will have the information for non resident investment rules in Australia
