Can anyone suggest a good book on how to renovate. This is things like tiling, painting, putting in kitchens etc?

Also does anyone know where I can get good cheap kitchens and bathroom cabinets in Perth? Perhaps good quality flat pack.

Actually could anyone can suggest any good contacts in Perth for renovating?

    Thanks for your time.

    G’day James,

Not sure if it is appropriate to provide links to other forums on this site, but …

Somersoft has a topic in their Value Added section on “where to buy "less expensive" reno products in Perth??”. There are 19 replies and some may be of use.

    Any way the link is:

    DIY it…..

Ross's Auctions in Maylands, they have website just google it.
They auction everything -tiles, kitchens, spas etc

Flatpak from Bunnings is a good way to go for Kitchen and Laundry renos

How to Tile Pave etc. Balaga Tafe runs weekend course (2x Saturays) on how to tile and pave etc. so does House Base Expo in Subi. I did the Home base course (more theory little hands on) then did the Balaga tafe course (little theory more hands on) and have tiles both bathrooms, Kitchen and laundry.

    Hope this helps
