I'm wondering what the general concensus is in relation to the immediate market trend, particularly in WA?
Seems to me, the market has had it's spike and is flattening. Question is, are house prices likely to fall?
I have a preference to look for deals around this time as emotions and motivation tend to run low.
Having said that, I can't see how it is possible for an investor to make + CF in and around Perth. Are ther people out there who can prove otherwise?
As it happens, I purchased my 1st investment property in Kalgoorlie having discovered yields on rentals there far outperformed the Perth CBD. There seems to be a genuine shortage of rental properties in Kal. Apart from the that, housing is affordable there. Having said that, as good a deal as I believed i made, the property still only just falls short of providing a +CF return.
Look forward to members views with interest.
    Frustratingly yours
    NGT
