    Hi all
I found a property which interests me and i called 2 different agents both are selling it.
I asked them if it's a freestanding house and the answer is no. but one agent said it's a "semi-house" and the other one said it's a "duplex".
now i'm confused. "duplex" and "semi", are they the same thing or not?

    any help appreciated
    AO

    Hi AO,

Semi-detached, duplex and sometimes dual occupancy are terms used to describe two homes, usually on seperate titles, connected by a common party wall.
