    hi guys,

    i have a block of land im trying to work out the size of the land in sqaure meters

    left side width 27.05
    right side width 25.75
    length on top 17.04
    lengh on bottom 12.61

    Actually 381.73m2.   To calculate multiply 25.75 X 12.61 = 324.70  Then multiply 4.43 (17.04 – 12.61) x 25.75 and halve it for half the rectangle = 57.03 and add the two amounts 324.7 + 57.03 = 381.73m2

    To work this out properly you really need the length of one of the diagonals.

    I don't believe that you can do the calculation becuase there is insufficient information. You need some angles.
