Hi, without ringing the councils, can anyone tell me the rules and requirements in QLD for subdividing land.

If I was looking to buy a property set on 3000sqm and the property was located on one side of that block, is it possible to subdivide this block into two to be able to build or relocate another house onto it? Is there much work or costs involved in this.

    Thanks
    Mark.

    Hi Mark

Each Council will have different rules and regulations.

Depending on where you are located ring a local Town Planner and they can give you the requirements in the area.

maybe also speak to a private certifier in your area if you don't want to speak to your
local council…. they can probably do all the necessary paperwork for you also
