As you progress through building homes using a business name, you can claim back the GST you pay for all the work. Does this have to go into the loan or can it be used to support the loan or for whatever you deem necessary?

As GST is 10%, is it appropriate to say that on the total cost of building the home it will still equate to 10% of the overall?

I assume you mean company name.
But yes you claim the 10% GST as you go,  via your quarterly BAS's when building.

Don't forget you will need to pay GST in the last BAS after or when you sell.

    Cheers
    Hutch
