Firstly I'm glad to report my brother and I bought a block of land on the weekend.
We paid $210K for a 934 sqm north facing block at the top of the hill overlooking a coastal area with 180 degree panoramic views.
The council has agreed that it is suitable for a "torrens" development.
We are looking to do 2 x two double storey, double garage, 4 bdr / 2.5 bathroom homes with their own private courtyards and large private balconies for each house to capitalize on the views.
Hoping to do 2 x homes @ 180 squares for $400K inc. landscaping, retaining, excavating, etc etc…
That is $610K for the two homes with land and hope to resell for more in a year's time…We are currently liaising with builders for the best deal etc… and hope to pass something to council around settlement time (in 6 weeks)…
Is there anyone that may have experience doing a similar sort of thing that may be able to offer any handy information???
