    Hi i want to purchase some property in Vietnam.  Can anyone help with which bank will lend against the asset in Vietnam?  It is a brand new apartment and they said banks would lend 50 – 70% but don't which bank?  How does it affect if i am in Australia?

    I lived in VN for a few years – while you could own apartments, you cannot own land.   May be different for Viet Kieu though.  At any rate,  I think this would be very difficult to finance

    Its very difficult to finance in Vietnam. Even if you are foreigner then you will face lots of obligation. Property in Vietnam is good but it requires lot of legal work.
