    Investing in Burnie, Tasmania….
We are looking at buying an investment property in Burnie Tasmania, just wondering if there is anyone else out there that recently has or is looking to do the same?  From our research of that area there is a Nickle and Cooper mine opening up just over an hour outside of Burnie, this will employ 1200 people, also I have read that rental vacancy  rates are low and that rents are on the way up and is it true that Burnie is in the top 20 fastest growing cities in Australia?  From talking to some agents and the town council, there is a buzz there at present.  Any comments would be greatly appreciated on this area of Tassie.
    Warm regards, Cresta.

Bernie has probably experienced massive capital growth over the last 5 years.
Still cheap, but are you sure this is growth going to continue? What happens if the mine closes or doesn't even open?
