Hi Forumites – can anyone point out to a site where I can download some property analysis software ?
Something that will give me the cost of holding after taking costs and income into account.

    Many thanks.

    Hi Cherry Pro

I think Investment Detective (Steve McKnight's deal analysis software) runs for a limited amount of time on a trial basis (or at least it used to)

    Check it out – https://www.propertyinvesting.com/iddownload

    I'm a big fan (although I'm a bit biased) ;)

For $199 to buy the full version, it's cheaper than similar software – and if you think of what you're worth per hour, you'll easily spend that much time trying to put together a spreadsheet which does half of what Investment Detective does.

I hope this helps you out

    Brent

Thanks Brent – will give that a try.

    Cheers.

    Hi Cherry Pro,

We also have a number of free downloadable spreadsheets and templates on our website that may be of interest to you.
