I have been offered through my mortgage broker to buy land in cannonvale qld, near airlie beach, an 800sqm block for $135,000., in mountain breeze estate. Does anyone know much on the area from an investors point of view, whether it is worth looking into. Average property price seems to be around $470,000 ? [strum]
I currently live in Cannonvale. The price you are talking about is just what you pay for land in that estate, nothing special in that deal.

Not a matter of what the land is worth but how much it will cost to get a Builder to come and build on it.
Some of my clients are quoting anything upto $1600 / Sq M for a standard box.
