I am looking for a bookkeeper and have a few questions as I haven’t used one before..

Do I need to purchase Quickbooks or does the bookkeeper use their copy?

How much should I expect to pay? (Is their an initial setup fee on top of the hourly rate, to set up the program to suit my business needs?)

Can anyone recommend a good bookkeeper?

    Cheers,
    Greg
ps I’m in Melbourne, which probably isn’t relevant..

    Hi Greg,

I am a book keeper for several small businesses plus keep my own five properties and my son’s four all on Quickbooks.

I use my own professional version of Quickbooks, so you shouldn’t have to supply the program.

With regard to costs, no set up costs, just pay by the hour, anything from $25.00per hr to $50.00 per hour.

I charge $25.00 and you would be suprises how much work can be done in 1 hr. I could do your work for you, tell me more about your requirements.

    Regards, Noele, Axis.
