Hi all, I need to quickly give someone a quick approximate of the value of chattels.

My place is a 2 bedroom apartment, nothing new or unique, it is carepeted, no air conditioning.

Could someone give me a rough estimate of what the average value is for a 2 bedroom apartment.

    many thanks

If the figures are for insurances purpose I would say 80k, although if it’s for divorce purposes I would say 20k.

    We may need more info.[cigar]

If it’s a mid range unit, the chattels will likely include:
carpet, blinds/curtains, exhaust/ceiling fans, stove/oven, cooktop, rangehood, dishwasher, intercom, HWS….?

Their value will depend upon their age and condition. They may be worth around $6,000.
