I bought a house in 1989 through the debacle that was homefund. They bought it back from me a year later, giving me a bad credit history black mark for 7 years for the privilege of being associated with them…

So my question is… Can I still qualify for the FHOG?

Sorry if this is a stupid question…[blush2]

I don’t believe so. If you’ve bought a property you can’t utilise the FHOG.

Im pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to either however to be absolutely certain maybe a quick call to the state revenue office will confirm the answer to that question.

    All the best
