Hi all you guys and gals
I have just booked a table in the “SUBSTATION No.41” bar.
Wednesday 2 August
Breakfast Creek Hotel
The table is for 20 or so people, and is booked under my name “Colin Wardle”.
I will be wearing black slacks and an orange long sleve shirt.
I look forward to meeting all of you.

I might be one of those somewhere else at the moment and you might have to put that beer i was going to buy you on my tab.
Still trying to get someone else to coach the kids soccer that evening but no one seems to want to put their hand up yet.

Well unfortunately my poor wife has come down with something overnight, and is not feeling well enough to get to this meeting this evening. We’re both really disappointed, but wish you all well – and hopefully we’ll see you all at the next one! Thanks again to Colin for organising this – I’m sure it will be very worthwhile.
Have a great night. Cheers,

A small but enthusiastic group braved the Brisbane chilly conditions last night and met at the Breakfast Creek Hotel for the inaugral Brisbane North Get Together.
Colin’s “orange” shirt was more a shade of mission brown, but after a few drinks it was hard to tell !! This was a great opportunity to network and put a face to a name, and well worth the effort. I’m currently working to establish a new website so I’m looking for people that may be interested in a free plug to get the site off and running. Perhaps we’ll see you next time.
Thank you Colin for the effort you made to organise the evening.

Long time reading, first time poster
I’m extremely disappointed that I missed this meet, as I’m sure my dad and I would have enjoyed it.
Will these meetings become a regular occurrence or was it a one off?
Abit about myself:
I’m only 18 at the moment, but keen to enter the property market (with the help of my parents) which some of you may see as taking the easy route etc… But they have been in the game for the majority of their life, and with current prices in QLD/Gold Coast they feel that giving me a leg up will entice me to start my portfolio at a young age. I have discussed this is great depths with my dad and I think realistically I should be ‘capable’ of retirement at the age of 30, but I’m striving to do it by the age of 27, as that’s been my mentality & goal since I was around 10.
