    Hi All

We are in the middle of getting plans drawn up for a subdivision of a corner block with over 5000sqm of land. There is and existing house on one part and the preliminary thoughts were that we could get 4 more blocks. However due to setbacks from the boundry and the fact that the main sewer runs straight through part of the block where could possibly have put 2 houses, it looks like we only only get 2 more hous blocks out of it.

I just had a thought today about it and thought I would see if any of you guys had tried this before. My thougth was to offer the land on the corner to council, for sale of course so they could use it for a play ground or picnic table area or some form of recreational land as there is none in the vicinity.

Has anyone ever tried this before or have any pointer about presenting the offer to council.

    Delboy
