    Hi Guys,

My wife and I both have a 50/50 tenant in Common for our PPOR.

If I were to remove my name from the SRO for our PPOR – My wife to have the full holding on our PPOR – Does she need to pay stamp duty?

Further more, if the same applies for an IP does she need to pay stamp duty + CGT?

I imagine CGT but not stamp duty but can’t seem to find this info in the SRO.

    Thanks
    ptn

I beleive so in both cases, unless you go through a divorce. May vary from state to state.
