    Hi

I’m new to property investment. I joined another property forum a few days ago with the same query but I’ve noticed a lot of postings on this forum from “new people”. On the other forum there have only been a couple of replies so far to my posting.

I recently read a property investment book called “Property Millionaire” that I thought was quite different from what I expected and had read in the past (I’ve only read a few property books over the last few years). The book had some very interesting concepts and referred to a boardgame and to an interesting website http://www.888abundance.com that features the property investment boardgame. I’m not aware of anything else like this specific to Australian property investment, and it sounds like very good tool for new investors. (NB I have played Cashflow before.)

Has anyone else read the book (or know anything about the boardgame) to be able to give an opinion? I thought the book was very good for newbies like me, and it might be a good for other people that are new to property investment.

Is this the same ‘Paul’ that spammed me during the week with this very same ‘offer’ in disguise?

I like the testimonials on the website – They all sound the same as the ones from the dodgy bros. back yard investment rip off seminar. i.e: I was destitute spent my last 50c on their program and before you could bob’s your aunty I was a millionaire…

Thanks but no thanks not for me. I’ll stick to losing my money myself instead of paying some clown to teach me how to invest poorly!

    And wasn’t “8 Simple Rules” a t.v. show?

    Hi Derek

    No, I’m not your spammer.

I have posted two entries on forum websites. One on this site & another on the Somersoft site. I was thinking of using some tips in the book (which talked about investing in regional areas) as a guide for my next possible investment in Regional NSW because I did think it was good. Before doing this, I was after opinions from other people through the forums who may have
read the book, or played the board game.

Someone talked about a game called Hybrid Real Estate on the other site. I don’t know much about this game either, but I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has played that game whether it was a good game about real estate.

After the nice welcome I got late last night after joining the forum, this was not the response I was expecting or treatment. I was surprised because I did notice some people on this and the other websites have actually promoted their own books.

    Regards

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

Not a problem – apologies offered.

You would be surprised at how many people come onto this site and ask about a ‘new product’ under the guise of a question along the lines of the one you asked.

Couple that with the spam I received through the week for the same product all combined to make me very wary.

    Cheers
