I was watching Ten news and saw a lady in the USA (where else) who successfully sued her employer after a motivational speach finishing whth a slap on the posterior.

In the words of Rove, “WHAT THE” She got $2.5 mill for that.
    Apparently it was sexual harrasment.

I might give her a call, my buttocks could take a slap for $2.5 mill (I even have two cheeks, is that $5 mill)

If anyone is intrested in slapping my backside send me an e-mail.
I will even come to you.

Like the Aussie Lady in the US recently who got done for assault in the movies telling a woman to “SHHHHHHHHH” because she was on her mobile phone..

There’s probably a few more scary stories like this in ..even in Australia recently if you looked..

OK, I agree, 2.5 million is a bit excessive, hitting him with a brick would have been more in line [biggrin]

The thought of some ugly dirty old man slapping my butt makes me sick![weird] and its also offensive to my family!

Americans do go over the top, but I’m glad there are laws against that type of behaviour, its just not ON!

    Hi all

There are heaps of these stories floating around but you do have to be a bit wary of the source of the news as quite a few of them are a load of bollocks…

case in point….old lady apparently sued Winnebago (big caravan with an engine things) because she put the van in cruise control mode, got out of the driver seat and went out the back to cook lunch. Surprisingly the van flew off the road into the bushes. Story said she won millions because she wasnt told by the company that cruise control wasnt an auto pilot and now they include ‘cruise control will not drive your car for you’ (or something like that), in the van manuals. The story turned out to be total bollocks. There is a website floating around i heard of that just refutes all these urban myth law stories. Some are bloody funny tho.

    Cheers

I’m facinated by your post Froggie. [eh]

Do you mean if the women in question was younger and a dish it would be OK … or have I misunderstood your post?

Personally I think she should have punched him or slapped him as it’s unacceptible behavour and patronising to boot … but sued him???

Hope the poor idiot was insured. Imagine having your family suffer financial hardship because of such a stupid action.

    Just my 2 cents
