Has anyone come across the council term ‘Linear separation’. I did today whilst talking to a real estate agent and promptly phoned the council for a definition.

In brief, linear separation is a council policy that no two properties are developed next to each other, e.g. duplexes next to each other. There must be a separation the width of your property either side that is not the same building construction.
