your business name could be the trustee company or trust or any other business trading name.

My business trades under the same name as my trustee co. so thats the name I use on my cards.

    hope this helps

    Whatever you like.

I would certainly have your name prominent – they are calling you not the trust, perhaps the company name in a corner if you feel it should be included?

Not forget to use the back of the card? Maybe specify what you are after or what you can offer? Is valuable space and should be used!

What is the entity that is doing the trading.
I will assume that it is the trust, then the correct name is XYZ Pty Ltd as trustee for ABC Trust.

You can also register a trading name for the trust. Visit the Office of state revenue website for your state. It’s free.

I agree with Simon. Use all the space on the card and use benifits of your business, not features. I find this works much better.[thumbsupanim]

If you need an invoice or receipt then you will need to consider the name and address carefully on your card. To make my accountant happy I generally give out a card with the name of the entity that I need to be invoiced. Normally I don’t use the trustee name on the business card. I like the idea of a trading name for the trust. I have 3 different business cards and just use the appropriate one at the time. If I have dealings with the trustee company then I use that card. If I use the trust to buy & small reno’s I use the trust card and if I do developments for the trust I use my development company’s business card. I hope this helps.
