    Hi All

I just noticed what looks to be a +ve cashflow property for sale in Gove in the NT. I haven’t checked it out myself (I live in Darwin so I have no excuse!) and don’t know the details other than:

    – It’s a 4br house with asking price $470,000
    – It is tenanted until 2007 with a 2 year option at $700 a week!
    – It was advertised in Saturdays NT News – private sale.

Now it seems to me as though noone in their right mind would sell a property like this unless they had info that something was about to happen (mining ceasing in Gove.. I dunno?) but if anyone wants to check it out PM me and I’ll send the contact details from the ad.

    Adam,

There are a lot of construction workers in Gove doing a major expansion to the alumimium plant right now. The construction work will stop next year and maybe rental demand or rent will drop.

Company I am working for are proposing to build a gas pipeline running under the Gulf all the way from Weipa to Gove to provide energy for the new Aluminum processing plant that is being built.
