a page where people could post pictures would be good, ie some of the topics regarding bathroom upgrades, could be linked to the pictures. Would be helpfull in showing the results of different approaches and inovative ideas

Is that what yr getting at?been raised a few times before by different people- might have the effect of changing the landscape . Most of the deals would be stale anyway wouldn’t they. By the time you posted it here you would probably have a couple of buyers for it. do you reckon like a show and tell type forum “like this is what i have just done” or are you saying have one that says “I have just bought this house / have it under contract and want to sell it etc”

I was thinking people could put photos up of a house they had bought in the process of their own personal investing.(rather than people trying to sell propertys)
Then show people how much work it needed, how they went about it , how much they payed for the property and the general area.
Maybe not the exact street but a general description where the house is.
I just think this would inspire people.
