Hi all
I would like to hear from people in Melbourne, about finding a property savy accountant, preferably on the East side.
Have one at the moment but I think he is not in tune to what we want concerning our IP’s. We had a wrap go wrong and have turned it into a rental, however need to sort out the tax deductions for the wrap period and have a Hybrid Unit Trust for our Family Trust, so need an accountant that is up to speed on all of that, I have phoned around via Yellow Pages and had a chat to several accountants about our situation, none as yet proved to be what we need. Several asked me to send them some information……which I happily did. Word of mouth referal desperately wanted. Thanks in advance, [inlove][blush2][blush2] Manifest

Hi All, Hasn’t anyone in Victoria a fabulous Accountant they could recommend to me? Going through the Yellow Pages just doesn’t cut it….. I will do my own Due Diligence relevant to our circumstances and needs, but would LOVE some names and numbers PLEASE…….[strum] Looking forward to some replies…..Thanks Manifest [exhappy]

Dale Gatherumgoss in Croydon is your man.Investors swear by him.Do a searh on here for his details.

just cant go past Gatherum Goss.. they are brilliant.. some people recommend Ed Chan, too.

I’m in the same boat.
Last time i checked to try to swap over to Dale, they were not taking any new clients.
I’d prefer not to have an Acc in Sydney if i can find one up to speed with HDTs and Prop investing and supportive Can anyone strongly recommend their Accountant from Melb East or South East suburbs or inner?

Hi All, Stephen is correst as far as Dale is concerned. Surely someone must have some other names of accountants for us to look into????PLEASE[biggrin] Yellow pages just doesn’t cut it. Good old fashioned word of mouth much needed…….[grad]

I use Andrew Goldberger and Morry Kalkopf at Guests Accounting in Caufield (www.guests.com.au). I have also referred them to a number of forum members before and all have been more than happy.
