We are looking at investing by buying a queenslander. The question is are queenslander homes worth it? Is the value in these type of homes all sentimental? They look nice, but they need constant upkeep. Can anyone give me an honest opinion between normal bricks and mortar and timber.

Queenslanders are beautiful thats for sure, but as they are mainly wood you will need constant termite sprays and keep a check on the stumps and any wood rot.

Enjoy it, they are stunners and well worth it, also they do make decent returns especially if they are done up nicely
