    Hi everyone again
it seems that not many insurance companies will insure an unoccupied house while renovating!!!
does anyone know of anyone who is cheap yet still adequately covers all that is needed for Melbourne subs?
as we intend to turn it over within a few months, we will need a policy that will take monthly payments or return remainder of the term after settlement

    thank you

Afraid that they advertise on their web that the insurance is for WA only. Tried GIO – again if unoccupied will not insure

Thansk for your help though [biggrin]

We had a similar problem while taking 12 months doing a removal house reno. We insured with Elders who were Ok once we explained that we were onsite each day and lived 1klm away. I surpose we’ll never know for sure as nothing bad happened !!
