I have received over 20 emails supposedly from WESTPAC over the past week and am expecting more. They come in the form of security alert, update your account details, confirm your details online or lose your access, fraud alert, etc etc. These all ask the recipient to go to a specific website. All are duds.

So would just like to pass the information on to you guys. I don’t know where they got my email address from, as I only use a couple of sites on the internet.

Anyway take care and just thought I would like to warn people. cheers

Have just found this notice in the Age. Please take a look. Its about spam email from a couple of banks. Mine was from Westpac and the notice is about the National and others. The notice advises that if you have gone to any sites like these duds, then to change your password on your Real Bank Site immediately.
