I’m a little confused about the different land titles in SA.
I thought the titles were: Strata, Community, Torrens, and “Traditional”.
I thought the traditional title was the title that you have with a house on a large block of land (eg.700square metres).
I thought Torrens title was similar to the traditional above, but your house exterior needs to be similar to related Torrens title house. I thought Torrens title usually applied to duplexs and courtyard homes.
Strata and community titles usually apply to units and apartments.
Am I right with the above “traditional” title? Is there a name for this, or is Torrens title the same as this?
