Have searched the forums and could not find relevant posts to my question.

What websites do experienced investors use to research potential properties and respective suburbs/areas? Preference is for free information that can be extracted and analysed personally.

    Hello Eleven Forty

I use the free suburb reports from RPData on realestate.com.au for initial searches and the I pay for their more detailed searches when I get to that stage. The prices are quite reasonable in my opinion for the assistance they provide whilst researching.

    EF –

Agreement on RPData. It is well worth the cost. As they say, “Expect to pay for good information.” However, many times I’ve been able to ask the real estate agent for the RPData if I’m seriously considering a property. Most, if not all, real estate agents have access to the database and can provide the information to you free of charge.
