Can some body tell me ‘what the average price of a renovated 1 bdroom unit in westend brisbane is?’. Are prices/values of this type of unit likely to increase here or am I better of looking for 2bdrm units further out?.

[biggrin]Who knows what the price is, research and find out all you can yourself, that’s where true investing starts. You could also ring RE agents in the area and ask exactly that question.
As to units in West End or somewhere else, and whether they’ll increase or decrease in value, well that’s your call as an investor. You shouldn’t have too much hassle finding out what you want to know.

You could search the RE sites on the net to give you prices of whats for sale, and some RE sites show past sales info too. You could do this for one and two bedders.
