Hi Gross,
I live in Coffs but am more into houses with land content. The Park Beach and Jetty area is where most of the units action is. Park beach still has a lot of seedy streets, units that were once 30k now 150k, although they are trying to clean the area up with some new unit blocks and t/houses, the Jetty area is more upmarket. I know one thing we have had a 6m white pointer cruising the coast the last week, not much good for us surfers. You could see it from the beach yesterday.

Coffs was cool for most of 20045/6. Starting to warm-up in 2007
Been in the market for about 5 years. Invested when I was living in Australia back in 2000-2001. Purchased a negatively geared one bedroom, two story apartment for 150K. Now valued at 215K
I now reside in NZ and Holland so the tax adavantage is lost.
