I was reading a thread last week and didn’t bookmark it and now I can’t find it.
I remember reading something about buying land and using the FHOG then a rule of having to build within 4 years???
Can anyone point me to that thread?

You are right – can’t get FHOG for a block of land. I’ll rephrase my question.
If you buy a block of land under $150,000 and you are a first home buyer you do not have to pay stamp duty.
So to receive the $7000 FHPG when you build – do you have to build within a specific time period? is that period 4 years?
Does anyone know?

Not sure of the answer, but just do a search for First Home Owners on Google and see what the rules are for you state.
