I have my eye on a property and am waiting for the REA to get the title for the property so i can take a look at it.

REA doesnt have it yet and the property has been on the market for nearly 2 weeks. Ima little reluctent on putting an offer in as i feel i dont know enough about the house and land.

Is there a way i can get my hands on the title?

If he/she has the property listed and doesn’t have a copy of the title they are in breach of the real estate and business agents act. anyway, to speeed things along just go to your settlement agent and pay the $20 or so for them to search it for you. It sounds like the agent may be playing games with you tho.

You can also get a copy online with the land titles office in your state. costs about $6.
