    hi all
I read a post yesterday about investing in the US and mentioned buying in africa and being eaten by lions this would be similar to this post but I think that you may get pecked by a turkey with this one either way keep your money in a safe and don’t carry the safe code number with you when you go into these countries.

I think this should be in frolicks or heads up people be scared.
If you delete you just have a carpet with alot of rubbish under it and I think that the more experience investors should say what it is and tell them what you think.

    Meribah Labinot,
What opportunities do you think still exist with ocean views? Marmaris appears pretty much over developed. I’m thinking more Pamukkale to Kas.
    Lutfen,
    Gatsby.

Turkey lol. They take over countries then sell real estate that does not belong to them. Great example North Cyprus Turkey is the only country that recognises North Cyprus yet they sell realestate Personally I would not give them the time of day yet hard earned cash

    hi gogo
Sorry to dissappoint you but throw a dart at an atlas and that country would have been invaded, was the invador, or is currently at war, thats life.
Its not the country I don’t like its some of the bottom feeders in it.
Turkey maybe great but be very careful about investing in anything you
    A can’t see.
    B you don’t understand.
C has no record of profitabilty that you have rearched.
    and
D has a gain at the end.
I don’t invest out of sydney for all of the above.
So why fly to give my cash away, give it to a homeless person on the street, if you give him enough( and you will to these investments) he may buy a unit and come to me for a second.

Turkey is a beautiful country and would probably have a lot of opportunities. Thing is.. When i was there, i noticed that they were able to sell to backpackers a rug that was larger than them selves…. Imagine what they could do to you in real estate. My advice would be to hook up with a local that can do the investigation for you.

    Hi guys

whether Turkey is a great real estate buy or not i don’t know.
I’ve bought property in 4 countries and the decision isn’t an easy one. Before you considered it you need to know so many things. Its not just a matter of the return.

    What about
    Insurance issues
    Finance issues
    ownership issues
    language difficulties
    legal issues
    understand the buying process
    management issues
    political issues

oh it goes on and on.

i’ve stuck with countries that speak english (we they sort of do in NZ),
countries where they have a similiar system of law
    tax agreements with us.

hope this give people something to consider before they embark on buying the world.

    regards westan

    Hi grossrealisation,
Would you purchase land from Nazis or even Hitler himself because that is life??? Turks to me are no different they just get a way with it as Hitler did not. If Turkey took over all your assets that would justify me purchasing your house off a Turk because that is life? Hello
