Well its early on Day 5 and Australia is 1-87 chasing 423 to win.

will we win lose or draw ? What do you think?

Things are tough for us but i think we are a slight chance to win, we might just see this team rise again to showed the Poms why we have been THE cricket team for the past decade.

$10 on the Poms. Aussies are struggling.

Poms to win the next 2 tests.

IT Botham comes out of retirement and makes a reappaearance in Test 5 scring a triple century and take a 10 fa.

Ranked No 2 in the World Cricket ranking which will be 1 after the Ashes.

    Rugby Union World Cup holders.

    Ranked 1,2 & 3 in World Snooker.

I could in but i wont for the locals sake.

England are back mark my words. Its all down hill for the Aussies

    Cheers Richard

    Hi Richard

yes enjoy it while you can.

you poor old poms have been getting a thrashing all over the world, and at every sport you taught us colonials to play.[biggrin]

I’m only 41 so i’m not old enough to remember england winning an ashes series[biggrin]

let hope its not this one [B)]

    3-1 result to Aussie

    Im with Westan. 3-1 Aussies!

Australia hasn’t even hit any form with the bat yet and England still can’t seem to really put Australia away. Australia has to start batting well sooner or later and when it happens. Seeya poms!

After seeing the effect of hosting the olympics had on Australian sport with all the $ poured in, I hope we don’t see the same thing with London 2012. Theres not much better than beating the poms.

As for the cricket, I think we will hang on to the Ashes for a few more years yet. England don’t seem to have the ability to put a truly champion side away while they are down.

2 all in the cricket, Ozzies retain ashes being current holders.

And for that game called soccer, oops… I meant “football”, how did that game go against the Danes?

Rugby Cup holders, yes but not won since.

Sven may have apologised but with 7 first teams out and wanting to pander to the nordic nations what do you expect.

At least we will be in Germany more than you can say for the Aussies (oh thats right i forgot they want the easy Oceania route becuase the Soloman Island where putting up tough opposition)

Westan i am 41 too and i remember England winning the 66 World Cup sat and watched it on my fathers knee.

As for the Ashes lets carry this post on after the 4th Test. All you can say thank god Billy Bowden is not standing in the middle for that one.

Bring back Dickie Bird all is forgiven.

Oh don’t you love the friendly banter.

    Cheers Richard

Just wonder if you would like the name of my charity so you can send the first $50 to.

Seems this topic has all gone quiet – where are you all.

Who cares if it rains for 5 days in the 5th Test.
