    Hi all,
I am currently building, the developer is offering $7000 landscaping package/fencing.
I will still need to complete rear landscaping.

Can anyone give me details/recommendation – someone you have used that is reasonably priced.

    thanks
    M

if i had the time i would do it for you!:) hehe

$7,000 would be able to buy you all materials and plants for both the front and backyard – the only thing that’s going to cost a fair bit is the labour!

When doing that reno in merriwa the retic and the paving was the most expensive part.

When installing retic it cost me about $700-$800 for the parts – then you need a plumber to put a main value on the mains (should cost about $110). However, you’re probably looking at a 3-4 days labour to put this in…

I got all the plants for the front and back for about $1,400. Got alot of plants and palms out of the quokka – there’s heaps of people that grow all different kinds of plants from their backyards then sell them at discounted rates…

    Hi Wayne

    Thanks for the tips.

we also dont have the time to do any of the work, and after renovating our house I am over it.

Leave it to the experts, know its going hurt though.

    Cheers, M

    PS
Are you still looking at those blocks (Capricorn), notice cottage lots for sale around $95,000 – seems cheap to me.

    Hi guys
I get the paving done (labour 10 to 12 $ per sqm) by paving guys,
used Riverscapes in Gwellup for the rear retic, lawn, plants etc. Think i paid about $3000 all up.Block size was 600 sqm
Was very happy with their work.I did heaps of research at nurseries prior and figure it only cost me $300 more to use them. they give a 6 month guarantee. And it leaves me free to paint, which saves heaps

    Hi Marissa,
is your landscaping post referring to a Dalyellup property?
Even if not you need to look at what you get for the $7000 landsc/fencing package – it’s not a lot.
Fencing uses about half – usually done by developers contractors to ensure uniformity.
Most new estates will require front retic and landscaping as minimum. It is worthwhile to speak to the developers contractors to find out what you get and how far it goes.

If it’s Dalyellup I can give you lots more tips and info.

    Cheers Julie

    Hi Julie

I appreciate any tips/help you can provide on Daly.

Do you have any idea on what I may be up for rear landscaping in Daly, the block is 701 sqm2.

I am at least 11 months off landscaping that’s if building remains on schedule.

    Cheers, Marisa[biggrin]
