In 2003 this forum used to be a busy little place there were posts coming and going every minute of the day.Where’s every one gone are you all sitting on the sidelines just watching see what happens or is it that the fad of property has been thrown in the too hard basket because the booms over maybe everyone is in NZ or maybe on their way to the US.What’s happened?

Maybe its because great deals are harder to find these days and everyones sniffing around the net and anywhere else looking for the hidden gem.
Could we all be wiser now and don’t need to talk about it so much.

No way – the reason is that every body is moving to Queensland, its the best place in Australia.

Actually Bris/Gold Coast is the second fastest growing area in the WORLD.

    Hi Resiwealth

Actually Bris/Gold Coast is the second fastest growing area in the WORLD.

Actually its not. It’s No-where near the top on a world scale.

don’t believe the QLD propaganda machine, Brisbane isn’t even the fastest growing city in Australia MELBOURNE is Auistralia’s fastest growing city, Yes it is !

Melbourne SD recorded the largest growth of capital cities in 2003-04, increasing 44,800 people, followed by Brisbane SD (up 39,700 people)

    according to the official figures.

    Hi All
The only reason they say melbourne is the fastest growing is because they need a reason to set up the dept down there for cheap food and rego’s.

We are a sleepy outback town here in Brissie and not recommended for clients wanting to obtain long term capital grown or miltiple property investments.

The only thing we have going for us is the sun and well that only shines half the time.

Recommendation – Stay Away leave it to the locals

It is probably because the boom in Sydney and Melbourne and perhaps a few other cities (except Perth) ended a while ago. The forums on shares are “booming”. Some of the people on those forums stated that they moved out of property investments into the sharemarket.

I think that Brisbane City being second fastest growing was a lil over the top. But maybe he was refering to South East Queensland as a region?

Either way, it’s flying along. The amount of land being developed is crazy stuff. Went and checked out a couple new residential developments by the water today- sheesh, hello big dollars!
