    Hi all,

I have been searching this site on info. regarding people to talk to about investing in Perth.
I have come across an old thread about a club that meet once a month. Does anyone know if this club still operates? The post was written by Tracey???

    Thankyou

    Yes they do..It’s more a business than a club I think..[fez]

Look at the member list for Traceys details (They’re in Subi i think) and PM or e-mail her for more info. You may also want to look at the Investors Club whilst your looking..

Also do a search on this Forum for Clubs and Groups..although it’s a pretty good group here and a wealth of knowledge amongst its members..

Dont know of anyone here who’s in Traceys group, if there is maybe they can shed some light and help you..

    Thanks guys!

My girlfriend and I are basically after mentors who have become financially succesful within the Perth market.

We are very eager to become financially independant and would love to do this through renovating on a full time basis.

    Thanks again!

Ok, we actually don’t do reno’s although you will find good info on the WA market on our site, both in the Archive articles section and Why invest in WA.

Craig Turnbull is a Perth based Property Investor..see GURU section. They have Mentoring as well as memberships structures if thats what you want….?

They just had a weekend seminar (about $1,500 to $1,700)..IMHO spend more time on the Forum and learn from some of the “great members” here( I have).

I think you’re referring to Tracey Imbuldeniya at PPIN (Perth Property Investing Network). [email protected]
The group meets monthly on the last Tuesday or Wednesday in Nedlands. If you contact her she will put you on the list to receive monthly emails which include meeting dates (as they vary).
They have guest speakers covering various topics and lots of interested and motivated investors willing to share their knowledge.
    Hope that helps
    cheers

Wow Abby, great to see you posting.

Would love to hear some of your recent development successes. I think the whole forum could learn bucket loads from your experiences and “go get’em” attitude.

In regards to the Perth meeting thing, you conveniently forgot to mention the little club you got going. Now don’t be shy. I thought you did an amazing job as chairwoman and convenor of the inaugural meeting – despite some of the strange cats that turned up. It took alot to organise and probably dented your mobile phone bill a tad, but I gained quite a lot from your residential development experiences.

I presume there would be alot of interest in starting up a Perth club – like the PI forum clubs over on the other side of the paddock.

Maybe we could called it “Abby’s forum” ??

    Cheers,

    Dazzling

    Hi Dazzling
Thanks for your kind words, it should only take a day or two for my head to shrink back to normal size. I am happy to contribute to posts but feel that most times queries are better answered by more experienced forumites.
I have sent you a PM.
    cheers

There used to be a group called Cashflow Club Perth (on the msn website) but it seems to be defunct now (not much activity).

Also some people who post on the John Burley forum used to meet in Freo . Try here …

I dont know of any other groups..some of the Somersoft guys had a meeting at the outstanding fish and chip shop on Mandurahs boardwalk some months back with the aim to talk a bit more about Mandurah and Rockingham etc..
