    I’m looking at a couple of deals within NZ at the moment and have just a couple of questions relating to Finance

    Are there any major differences in the regulations when lending for an NZ property?
    -LVR
    -Affordability
    -Servicability
    -Use of rent as income
    etc

    Does anyone have a specific financer they use repeatedly?

    What pitfalls have people found when getting finance for an NZ property?

    You mentioned Kiwiproperty, I recently received a book written by Antony & Sigrid a.k.a. kiwiproperty from this forum, titled The Guide to New Zealand Property Investing -Australian Edition,

    I haven’t yet had a chance to read it, but it was highly recommended to me as a valuable resource for those currently investing or intending to invest in the NZ property market,

    I agree with Steve.

    I have read the book and even written a review on this site. The book is a great resource for anyone starting in New Zealand or is also valuable for experienced investors. The book would have saved me a lot of time.
