    Hi
I left NZ 6yrs ago and havent been back. Could someone care to provide me with a little overview of the Auckland property market. What areas are experiencing big growth. When I left, Onehunga was a dive however it is ‘renewing’ itself I here.
What about Mangere Bridge?. Albany?. Glenfield?.

What, if any, suburbs are going thru Urban Renewl?
I lived in inner city brisbane for a while and the Urban Renewl that has occured there, over the past few years, is amazing and has done wonders to property values.

Whats happening in inner city Auckland? Kingsland, Newton etc etc.

    Cheers

    Hi Loanwolf,

i’m a Kiwi myself and have been living in Sydney for 12 years. I was asking the same quetions as you last year. i found a company called NZ property solutions on the web – they have an office in Sydney. NZPS knows alk inside out and i ending up purchasing in Eden Terrace. i’m looking to purchase again in the next 3 months. can’t speak highly enough of them – worth a look

    good luck

    Checkout realenz.co.nz

Just trawl through the suburbs you are interested in, check out what’s available for the price in the various areas.

All the Auckland rental stats by suburb are available here

    http://www.dbh.govt.nz/housing/tenancy/Market-Rent/market%20rent%20area.asp?Region=Auckland

so it you cross-check rents against property prices on realenz in the various suburbs, you can get a pretty good idea of yields in Auckland
