Hi Guys,
Haven’t been on the forum for a while – have been too busy getting out there and “just doing it!!!”

I just wanted to say a big thankyou to all those who helped me purchase my first property through your advice and ideas posted on the forum.

As with any property purchase, mine was not without its minor glitches, however, all is good now thanks to me “doing my homework”, a major part of which was through this forum.

Despite the hype surrounding the deflating property market, I still feel my purchase was a good one. I bought the property, a 2br, strata title unit in a large regional centre, convenient to everything, for $131k. with a new kitchen and bathroom. There is now another for sale in the same block, with original (late 70’s) kitchen and bathroom for $150k. A great lesson in the importance of knowing the circumstances of the vendor – mine was in a hurry!!!
