Geraldton is a beautiful friendly City approximately 4 hrs north of Perth.
When I was a tad it was known as a Sister town to Bunbury.
Geraldton is steeped in history, well known for its huge Cray fishing (lobster) fleet, Long Beach’s, Sunshine and Warm Country Smils.

And to what do we owe the new interest in Geraldton from you west????

Or is this an attempt at a dig?

I live in Geraldton & have IP here as well as Kalbarri. I could see 12 months ago that G’ton was on the move with all the infastructure being built. That is the point of investing is to make money & to look out for opportunities & act on them whereever they are.

That is exactly right cathy. It is also good to get in before everyone else has caused the prices to skyrocket due to crazy buying!!!

Geraldton prices were ridiculously cheap 12 months ago. The cheapest I bought was 3 br brick and tile , renovated for 63k , rented for 125 per week (probably get a bit more now in rent), agents reporting that price increases have slowed down in the top end of the market, anything under 250k still selling well.

I still think they are good value, my latest purchase was only a month ago for 100k brick and tile. It settles on the 4th July and I have a tenant lined up at $150.00 per week.

In total I have bought 14 there in the last 18 months.

    Very Happy :)
