I am new to this forum, and in fact forums in general but hope you might have some advice for me. I have a commercial property to sell (privately) in Karratha WA and wonder if there is a good website to advertise commercial property. Most websites only deal with houses. Mine are positively geared workshops with long leases.
    Any Ideas please?

    Hi Jodie,

Why restrict yourself to just websites ??

I know quite a few of the boys up in Karratha, most are loaded and pretty savvy when it comes to a dollar.

Why not spread the word, or post up on local notice boards. Not everything in life is solved by the web or needs to be online to get the best sale price.

My first port of call would be the neighbours – they have a strategic reason to offer you top dollar for your adjoining prop.

    Cheers,

The commercial equivalent of realestate.com.au is http://www.realcommercial.com.au I think it is restricted to agents only like its sister site.

There is also http://www.commercialrealestate.com.au and http://www.propertylook.com.au

    Hey Mike,

Other than the “I think” clarification, why do you recommend Jodie look at agent only sites when she clearly wishes to sell privately ??

Unless of course Jodie is a fully paid up affiliated agent member…

The sites you’ve recommended are great for scanning if you wish to buy, but she’s selling ??

    I’m confused.

no I am definitely not an agent. I also no longer live in Karratha so its a bit more difficult than just showing inerested parties around the place. I thought the net because I could put photos and details up front for people to consider BEFORE I have to jump on a plane and fly over, which would still be cheaper than paying agents their 15k or so.
I have sold numerous times before privately but usually I was at least in the same part of the country at the time.In fact ive only sold through an agent once.

    Jodie,

Redwing started a good thread on tips for selling privately.

Perhaps with your experience you could share a few of your detailed experiences for the forum.

    Cheers,
