I don’t seem to be keeping on top of moderating the inappropriate posts just lately.

I would ask that if members feel that some posts or threads are not suitable for this forum please email me the link and I will take a look at them.

Things like spam, advertising, soliciting are some examples. Others include hurtful, slanderous or tasteless posts.

I think that we all know what is appropriate and what isn’t.

    Thanks team,

I think you’re doing fine, Simon, but some of the old mods might come back (sis!!!!!!!!! PG!!!!!!!!!!!! Chan!!!!!!!!!! *screams* etc etc) Sell off your shares and come back to property, you boys! Actually, I miss Derek too :(

Posters might also realise it’s not just up to mods to delete inappropriate stuff- posters can also be careful about getting into fights with each other that go on and on forever- people can always argue in private if they like it :)

Simon- it should be a group effort, but thank you for taking so much of it on.

    Where did Derek go?

Surely he was not that upset by my comments regarding The Investors Club??? I did notice he hasn’t posted lately.

Hi guys – looking at the lists of mods for each forum there are very few who are still regularly here.

Perhaps you could ask admin to recruit a few more, as it’s a bit much to expect Simon and Cath to do it all.

Hopefully we get to have a vote before the ‘wrong’ person is made a moderator!

    Hi Simon,

You do a great job!!! We all appreciate you!

It must be extremely difficult remaining polite and courteous all the time, but you always seem to manage it.

I do agree that we need a few new moderators to help you, perhaps when the stockmarket crashes, they will want to come back!![blush2][biggrin]

    Keep up the great work,
    Del
