We are very new to all of this and after reading steves book are convinced positive gear is the go… HOWEVER we are curious has anyone ever used these companys where you pay them a fee ( 6000) etc to find proerties because we are starting to wonder is there any properties out there.
We have money ready to go but are not having much luck finding one ourselves. Any ideas.

    Hi,
My husband and I have just settled on our first property and used a buyers agent who cost less than $6000 alot less, found a property for us in under a month which is positive cash flow by about $45 per week, she frequents these message boards at times and her forum name is scotty3. Maybe you could PM her if you are interested?
Hope this is helpful we founf she really helped us to stop procrastinating and just do it!!
Given us the confidence to do our next deal too…
    Regards, Colette

    Hey Collie,

Is scotty3 a propert buyer’s agent or just a ‘bird dog’?

Were you provided with a report regarding the property and surrounding area?

How much did it cost you and what was the price of the property you bought?

    richie,

It all depends on if you want to be sold a fish or taught to fish yourself.

    Richierich,

If you’re set on positive cash flow properties, you may be best off looking offshore. There are a number of people on here who invest in New Zealand and a growing number in the US.

Some good people to speak to, who post on here are Nigel Kibel for New Zealand and Westan Johnson for the US, there are also others.

    Regards
    Alistair
