    we just settled on a ha land in tas over 18 months after contract written. we purchased the land for 39,500 and the bank has valued it at over 85,000. and we didn’t even put down a deposit. thats the good news. also because the value was so high we only put 500.00 towards the loan.
    bad news is i wish we had been less scared and purched some more as in this new subdivision there were still 26 blocks for sale when we got ours and if we had known we could have had a long settlement on some of these and sold them when titles came thru, making a mint.
    oh well , we will learn for next time[strum]

    We did a similar thing but we purchased 3 blocks which we appear to have sold.

    purchased my first property in 95 in nsw.. could have brought 2 more a year later…in the same spot for the same price..if only

    we need to learn from our mistakes and take advantage of something when we’re there. we can’t turn back time . maybe as steve says we have to create an answer to a problem
