Has 5 single bedrooms with students in them using shared kitchen, one bathroom/laundry sep toilet.
another 2 double bedrooms have their own lounge and bathroom.
plus the owners original accomodation of 3 bedrooms, 2 lounges, kitchen. laundry, toilet.
Currently tenanted by Chinese people so what other options could you suggest this property could be used for?
Am considering purchasing it as Cash flow can be improved but not sure about handling so many non-english speaking tenants.

    Hi Dini,

Is it close to a university by any chance??
Could you rent it out by the room?

Sounds like it has lots of possibilities.
    Good luck.

Where is the property? If it’s in a university town you could rent it by the room to uni students. I’d recommend paying a cleaner (built into room rent) to come in and clean the place every week though otherwise you might see your investment going down the gurgler!

If it’s in a fruit/grape area you could fill it with pickers for a good six months of the year on the same scheme as above with cleaner.

If it’s in a touristy place, how about turning it into a backpackers with resident manager?

    Good luck!
